The HSE recommend that qualified first aiders attend an annual refresher course.
Aim of Qualification
The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to refresh the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.
Course Content:
- Emergency Procedure
- Unconscious casualty
- Recovery Position
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Bleeding
- Shock
Assessment Method:
- Practical Assessment completed throughout the course
Course Duration:
3 hours
Awarding Body:
Qualsafe Awards
An Accredited Certificate will be awarded on completion of the course.
